MBR Youth Programs

MBR Interact Club

Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self.

The Metro Bethesda Rotary Club is the sponsor of a new Interact Club, a community-based club open to all high school students (14-18 years old) with current academic attendance in any educational setting (public, private, religious, home-school, non-profit, for-profit, online).

The MBR Interact Club was founded on March 3, 2020, after the four founding officers attended a District 7620 Rotary Youth Leadership Award event in February. Through service work, they will continue to learn new skills, build confidence, form friendships, have fun, and become dynamic leaders in their schools and community.

Metro Bethesda Rotarian Kallie Forman is the Interact Advisor. For more information, please contact Kallie using the contact form below.

MBR is sponsoring a 4-Way Test speech contest for high school students grades 9-12 with cash awards to the top submissions!

The purpose of the speech is to persuade others while applying the principles of the 4-Way Test (Is it the TRUTH? Is it FAIR to all concerned? Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? Will it be BENEFICIAL to all involved?) One winner will be selected by our Club and will advance to the District Level. Registration deadline is Feb. 28. Learn more on the District 7620 website, and download a Four Way Test Speech Contest Description and Registration Form.
