Feed the Need
Throughout the month of August, our Club will support Oohh’s & Aahh’s, a Black-owned DC restaurant, by purchasing meals to donate to Casa Ruby. Casa Ruby provides LGTBQ, bilingual, multicultural social services and is run by two transgender women of color. Our goal is to provide the 250 meals Casa Ruby serves each day. Each meal through Oohh’s & Aahh’s costs $12.50. Bob Margolis will match every dollar donated, and one of our speakers has started us out with a $100 donation to this effort! Please refer to your weekly e-bulletin for the details on how to contribute to this worthy effort.

Shoe Drive is Back through the Month of August Used shoes can be donated to Soles 4 Souls, an organization that ships shoes around the globe so that others may repair, use or sell them. Deliver your used shoes to the Greif driveway.
