May 2021: MBR District Gold Awards

We’re taking a moment to pat ourselves on the back. MBR’s members have always known we’re a great club. Now we’re tickled to report that Rotary District 7620 has awarded us its highest honors (Bronze is the top level in environmental this year). Thanks to all of the members who’ve worked hard to keep us active and engaged during this challenging year!

Mar 2021: International Women’s Day

On March 4, 2021, for our International Women’s Day Celebration, MBR welcomed guest speaker Rotary Foundation Trustee Geeta Manek. Geeta expressed her gratitude and told us about some of her extraordinary humanitarian work and life experiences through her several decades of Rotary leadership positions in Kenya and internationally.
We’re all longing for the day we can celebrate IWD in person again. Until then, relive our 2020 IWD Event at the World Bank.

This project is part of MBR’s Feed the Need initiative, which supports local restaurants while providing meals to underserved communities. Over the past several months, we’ve also provided 80 meals to the Greentree Shelter, an emergency shelter that’s part of the National Center for Children and Families, and another 80 to local first responders. Thank you for continuing to support Feed the Need!
