This spring, MBR launched a major COVID-19 project to help the medical first responders at Bethesda Rescue Squad (PPE and equipment), doctors and nurses at Mobile Medical Care (PPE and diagnostic equipment) and So What Else (PPE and funds for food distribution). This project was funded by MBR members, MBR Foundation, District 7620 and Rotary International Foundation. Funds for the Rescue Squad were also contributed by the Rotary Foundation of Washington D.C.
