2023 Purple Tee Golf Classic

The Purple Tee Golf Classic, one of Metro Bethesda Rotary Club’s biggest fundraisers of the year, will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Whiskey Creek Golf Club. This year the Purple Tee will support a terrific veterans organization, The Salute Military Golf Association (SMGA) as well as the MBR Foundation. Registration for the Purple Tee is now open!

The Salute Military Golf Association

The SMGA provides rehabilitative golf programs, experiences, and family inclusive golf opportunities for post 9/11 wounded war veterans in an effort to improve the quality of life for these American heroes. Eligible veterans and service members include those wounded or injured in post 9/11 military operations, including those with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

MBR Foundation

The MBR Foundation supports Metro Bethesda Rotary Club’s efforts to provide humanitarian assistance locally and internationally, and to promote peace, understanding, and educational and cultural advancement. It is operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
